Edit a Tracking Resource

You can modify an existing tracking source if it is not linked to the default settings. To edit a tracking source linked to the default settings, you must first unlink it. When unlinked, any future changes to the default settings are not reflected in the tracking source.

Before you begin

  • You must first convert a tracking source from Site Manager to CRM IQ before you can edit it. For more information, contact your Yardi support.

  • Set up schedules and default routing settings if you plan to use them when editing a tracking source. For more information, see Default Routing Settings and Schedules.

How to do it

  1. In the row corresponding to the tracking source that you want to edit, click the Edit button. The Edit Tracking Source and Call Routing screen appears.

NOTE: If the Use Default Routing settings box is selected, you must first deselect it to be able to edit the tracking source.

Description

Voice/Call, Email, Text

Select the checkbox to enable a channel.

NOTE Channels selected when you added the tracking source are grayed out and cannot be deselected.

Use Default Routing Settings

Links the tracking source to the default call routing settings and deletes the current tracking source routing settings.

NOTE You can deselect this checkbox to unlink the tracking source settings from the default settings, which allows you to edit the call routing settings from this screen.

NOTE If you select Use Default Routing Settings, any current call routing workflows are deleted and replaced with the default routing settings call routing workflows.

Copy to Defaults

Copies the tracking source settings to the Default settings for this property. For more information, see Default Routing Settings.

NOTE If Default Settings are already set up for this property, or had been set up and then deleted, the message "Defaults already exist for this property" displays and you cannot copy the tracking source settings.

Voice/Call Routing Settings

Defines call schedules and routing. For more information, see Default Routing Settings and Call Routing Workflows.

Email Routing Settings

Defines email routing. For more information, see Default Routing Settings.

Text Routing Settings

Defines text routing. For more information, see Default Routing Settings.

2. When you are finished editing the tracking source, click Close. Your changes are automatically saved.
