Voyager 8 and CRM IQ present the customer journey as a set of discrete steps that flow one into another, with specific actions contained to the relevant step. The leasing workflow is part of the overall Applicant Workflow. It starts when you (the leasing agent) approve the application, after which the Manage Lease step becomes available, and ends when you countersign the lease. Before an applicant becomes a resident, they must sign their lease.
When managing the lease, you:
Review and confirm rental terms, including the dates of the lease.
Review and confirm all charges, including move-in charges and monthly recurring charges.
Add or remove concessions from lease charges.
Add or remove forms from the lease packet.
Edit the contents of the lease.
Print any additional forms that require wet signature.
Finalize and countersign the lease.
You can initiate different parts of the leasing workflow from the Agent dashboard, by following the Next Step for applicants who are pending approval or lease generation. Alternatively, you can go directly to the prospect relationship record to begin the leasing workflow using the Lease Editor.
The Lease Editor you use depends on your property’s contracted document solution. Voyager 8 and CRM IQ supports the following document solutions:
RentCafe Lease Docs.
Blue Moon.
Custom Docs.
