Copy Default Routing Settings from Another Property

If your schedules and call routing are consistent across properties, you can save time by setting up default routing settings and schedules for one property and then copying them to other properties.

Before you begin

  • Delete any existing schedules from the target property. If schedules are set up on the target property, you cannot import default settings.

  • Set up call trees in Site Manager. For more information, see Maintenance call trees and technicians and Maintenance call tree setup in Site Manager Help.

How to do it

  1. From the Tracking Source and Call Routing screen of the target property, click the Defaults tab (Communications > Tracking and Routing > Defaults).

  2. In the top-right part of the screen, click the Import Settings button.

NOTE: If you have schedules set up on the target property, you are not able to import default settings.

  3. The Import Default Settings screen appears.

  4. From the Export Settings From drop-down menu, click the Action button and then select the property from which you want to import default routing settings.

  5. Click OK.

  6. You can preview the default routing settings that you are importing. No modifications can be made at this step, but the settings can be modified after you import them into the property.

  7. Click Import.
