Starting with the 2027 tax-filing season, for the 2026 tax year, Voyager will submit 1099 data to the IRS through the IRIS (Information Returns Intake System) e-Filing platform. IRIS replaces FIRE (Filing Information Returns Electronically).
The IRIS Missing Info Report displays data pertinent to IRIS data requirements. The following sample includes some tax IDs that do not match standard tax-ID formatting (##-####### for Employer Identification Numbers or ###-##-#### for Social Security numbers). The Comment column indicates none of the records has the tax ID type specified. For information about specifying the tax ID type, see Update Person Tax Info.
