Introduction
The dashboard is divided into three sections: Property Selection, Tiles, and a Data Table at the bottom.
From the dashboard, you can easily drill down to detail records:
Click one of the tiles, for example, Open AR. GL Manager displays a list of related records in the Data Table (for Open AR, the table shows a list of unpaid charges).
Scan the Data Table for records that require your attention.
Click a row in the table to open a detail record, for example, an unpaid charge.
Property Selection
The data on the dashboard comes from the properties that are selected at the top of the screen. When you open the dashboard, GL Manager remembers the last property you looked at.
To change the selection, use the property lookup and click Search.
Saved Filters
If you usually work with the same properties or property lists, you can set them up as Saved Filters and save time.
To create a Saved Filter, select the property (or properties) you want and click the Save button.
Tiles (KPIs)
The data shown in the tiles is based on the property selection; for example, Open AR refers to unpaid and partially paid charges at the selected properties.
When you click a tile, the table displays details about that category. For example, if you click Open AR, the table displays a list of open charges at the selected properties.
The Data Table
The table displays detailed information about one of tile categories.
By default, when you open the dashboard, the End of Month tile is selected. The table has a row for each property, with details and links related to closing the month.
If you click another tile, the table changes. For example, if you click the Open AR tile, the table displays a list of the open charges at the selected properties.
Drilling down from the dashboard
From the dashboard, you can easily drill down to detail records. Any number or text displayed in blue is a link to another record.
For example, if you click a Ctrl Number in the screenshot shown above, GL Manager opens the Charge Invoice screen.
